...At FRANK, you’ll be seated around our massive communal table of century-old reclaimed wood, surrounded by new friends who share your love for fresh, local food and the fellowship and storytelling that naturally spring from the dinner party setting.
...At FRANK, you’ll enjoy a multi-course meal with complimentary wine, beer, and/or cocktails, made with the freshest local and artisan ingredients (often hand-raised by your chefs), as well as the stories behind them. Between them both, Jennie and Ben have traipsed across most of the globe and brought back ingredients, recipes, techniques, and memories that combine into the ultimate, personal dinner party experience.
...At FRANK, we don’t believe in flashy tricks to confound or befuddle your palate. We respect and honor our ingredients and want them to look and taste like themselves. Our recipes are inspired by classic, traditional preparations, enriched by our collective creativity from years of travel and kitchen adventures. FRANK is food...to the point.
...At FRANK, you will enjoy local, unique, often rare, occasionally foraged ingredients that chefs at a restaurant can’t acquire in enough quantity to feature on their menus. You will indulge in food preparations that can’t be accomplished in the chaos and strictness of a commercial kitchen. You will be served by, and dine with, your chefs...become friends with them...chat food and travel and life with them.
...To experience FRANK, get on our email list. A week or so in advance of each dinner party, an email will go out and our guest list will begin to fill. The email will include the suggested donation to help cover the cost of ingredients, and may give hints about the evening’s menu. This is the time to notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions, and also to introduce yourself to us and tell us a bit about you, and why you love food. FRANK is a popular, ephemeral experience and seating is very limited. We humbly request 48 hours’ cancellation notice so we can fill your reservations, out of respect for the ingredients that have been sourced and prepared.
...At FRANK, your suggested donation (normally $100, payable in cash or credit) will include a welcome drink and amuse-bouche, a multi-course meal, and the chefs’ selected wine (or occasionally beer) pairings. Gratuities are welcome and help us keep the interesting folks around who help coordinate, serve, and socialize. FRANK generally takes place within 10 minutes of downtown Dallas (normally accessible by public transit) at a private home in a comfortable, casual, informal space.
...FRANK is about celebrating the richness of life, the art of food, and the craft of drink. You are welcome to bring a bottle or two of your favorite beverages to share with your new friends. If you would like to share a homemade condiment or treat, or a new-found artisan product, by all means...
...At FRANK, plan to spend 3 or more hours for your dinner party experience. This is not a restaurant. This is an evening-long celebration of food in our home, and you’re invited.Enter your email address to get on our list, and feel free to tell us a little about you. We will email you a week in advance of FRANK's next seating. Once an invitation email goes out, you'll have 24 hours to respond for a party of up to 4. Reservations will be selected by random lottery drawing from the response pool.
